Ref. 1004: Chief Operations Officer (m/f)

Responsibilities:

As board member, the Chief Operations Officer is in charge of the overall direction and strategy of all operations and productivity matters, such as:
* Support company growth, by developing all departments towards efficiency-driven and flexible business units;
* Translate the company’s strategy and policy into current and long range business objectives and ensure that these objectives are met;
* Establish operations , human resources and similar management policies for the company;
* Ensure the commercial and the financial success of the operations;
* Represent the company and its values in its relationships with major customers, suppliers, and other relevant stakeholders.

Reporting: to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Based: Luxembourg

Compensation : In line with relevant experience

Requirements

Education: University degree in engineering and/or business management

Experience:

* At least 10 years in small to mid-sized industrial R&D environments, preferably in companies focusing on environmental technologies
* Proven track record of several successful growths of small entities (of about 20 staff) to middleweight players (of approximate 200 people).
* Preferably with previous experience in developing start-up companies

Language skills: Fluency in English and German

Age: In line with relevant experience

Personality:

* Effective communication at all levels
* Natural leadership
* Excellent organization development skills
* Good interpersonal skills
